I go through writing withdrawals if I don't have something cooking. <br /><br />I recently dove into an older WIP. I rarely set one aside, especially at 60,000 words, but I had to. It was tough to get into it. Note to self: NEVER stop in the middle of a police procedural!!! But I finished it and liked how It turned out. It was particularly satisfying because I stuck with it, even when it felt like I was butting my head against a wall in the middle of it.<br /><br />Good luck on reviving your WIP.
