Confession time. I am not a reality TV show watcher. I catch the occasional show simply because I can’t believe some of these shows are on the air. This last Halloween, my husband and I dressed as ZZ Top, but this year as we wore the same thing and sat on our front porch to hand out candy, everyone thought we were DUCK DYNASTY. That made me curious enough to watch the show. *snort* OK, I got a kick out of it. It quacked me up.
Here’s a picture of my husband on Halloween. He puts the NASTY in DUCK DYNASTY, right? (Our neighbors didn’t recognize us. They thought Honey Boo Boo had moved in and squatted on our property.)
Here are a few Reality TV shows I’d like to see:
Hillbilly Gynecologist – Nuff said. The title alone would sell it. Think: Gyno Boo Boo.
Survivor Meets Hannibal – I’d like to see a Survivor show that puts real teeth into surviving. Losers become the evening meal for the survivors. This can put a spin on Hell’s Kitchen or Chopping Block. Who wouldn’t want to see Chef Gordon Ramsey get whittled down to size, literally.
Hate My Kitchen – I would love to see a show where a guy with a camera crew visits a local Home Depot looking for someone interested in getting a kitchen makeover. They get these people all fired up that a crew is coming over to gut their kitchen. When the crew arrives, the hunky host of the show hands a sledge hammer to the homeowner and tells them to get started. The husband and wife totally get into wrecking their kitchen, but when they turn around, no one is there to help them, except the camera guy. Talk about being committed to a reno-job! There is nowhere except up from ground zero, folks. (Sponsored by Home Depot.)
I Can Do a Better Job – Anonymous people online are tracked down through their internet service providers and randomly selected to put their money where their mouth is after posting scathing reviews. Anyone critical of films, books, music, celebrities, doctors, government officials, ANYONE—they get an opportunity to shine and show how they can do a better job…while the universe is watching over their shoulder.
So these are a few ideas I had for Reality TV shows I’d like to see. Do you have any ideas to add? What shows do you watch and why do you like them so much?

Are YOU an Indigo Child? Take a Test to See
by Jordan Dane
@JordanDane
In my new HUNTED series with Harlequin Teen, a strong inspiration for book #1 INDIGO AWAKENING and the series is the idea that Indigo, Crystal, or Star children are the next evolution of mankind. I am very intrigued by the idea that despite what man might believe—that we are top of the food chain and can’t foresee a 2.0 version of us—mankind is bound to evolve into something beyond what we are today. And yes, there are many people who believe that these children (or Indigo Warrior adults) exist among us and are evolving into a more enlightened version of ourselves. Query “Indigo children” online and you will get over 61 million hits. The phenomenon of Indigo children or Indigo adults have inspired books, movies, TV shows, national news coverage, and been linked to the CIA and the Pentagon.
The tag line for the book is “They are our future, if they survive.” In my fictional book, these special psychic kids are being secretly hunted by the Believers, a fanatical church that fears what these children (and the Indigo adults who are protecting them) are becoming. A storm is brewing on the streets of LA.
But today I would like to see how many of YOU are an Indigo. At ADR3NALIN3, we think all of our followers are special and exceptional. Take the Indigo test and see if you are the next evolution of mankind and share your results with us in a comment too.
Do you see people's auras? Have you ever seen the dead or angels? Are you intuitive or have you ever had a deja vu moment that struck you as sooooo real? Do you know anyone like this?
If you were an Indigo, what kind of psychic powers would you want to have?
If you have trouble taking the quiz on the widget below, click HERE for the link to the test, but please post a comment and tell us how you did. Some of you may not need a test to tell you what you already know. I have a very strong feeling--call me psychic--that our little community at ADR3 is loaded with exceptional readers.

A Tease is Only Fun if...
by A.G. Howard
Don't you just hate when someone teases you, tempts you, and taunts you with the promise of something amazing and, then, when you're salivating at the chops, they walk away laughing without giving you anything at all? Feels kinda like this...

Well, here at ADR3NALIN3, we understand the subtle art of teasing. We're authors, after all. And we know that a tease is only fun if the teasee (yes, it's a word! I just made it one, see?) eventually gets what they're promised.
Back in January, our Weekend Warriors, Frans and his zombie twin, Hans, teased our readers on this post, promising details of how to win this EPIC ADR3NALIN3 gift pack:
Bet you thought we forgot, right? Well we didn't. And today I'm going to give you all the deets you need to make this lovely dream package a gratifying reality.

Our package isn't the only thing up for grabs, either. Over twenty-some established and debut YA authors donated: t-shirts, lanyards, temporary tattoos, SIGNED books, SIGNED bookmarks and bookplates, magnets, felt coffee sleeves, shuriken hair clips, a USB flash drive, bracelets, pens, notepads, keychains, and more. There are five different prize packages to win, including ours.

Surviving the Zombiepocalypse, ADR3NALIN3 style...
by Hans (translated by Franz)
Hans: UUUGG GGRRRRR ug OOOOOR RAAAAAAARR UG GRRRR ROOOOORRR RAAARRR ugg raaaaar RAAARR ROOOOORR uuuggg raaaaaarr rooooorr GRRRRR UUURRRG OOR grrrrr raarrr grrr!!!
Franz: Whilst looking online for brain recipes, Hans stumbled upon a very helpful "How To" video made by the talented fellows at Bad Idea Films. He'd like to share these useful tips for those of our readers who wish to keep their brains intact should a zombie infestation occur within their neighborhood. View at your leisure (but please don't wait until you hear the clawing upon your windows and doors ... that's a bit too late).
Hans: UUG rooorrr raaaaarr RAAAAAAR AHHHH roooorr braaiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnss roooorr ahh uuug AAHHHHH UURRRG ROOOOORRR!!!
Franz: And because Hans is feeling generous this weekend, he'll share one last tip with you. It is a well known fact that zombies like fat, pink brains. But, it is less common knowledge that feeding the brain with books and cheetos makes it healthy, lean, and orange. So by being well-read and cheeto-fed, you're already one step ahead of your neighbors.
Hans: uugg GGRRRRR uggg ooooor AAHHHH UUURRG RAAAAAARR?!?! UUUGG GGRRRRR ug OOOOOR!!!
Franz: You say you're short on books and orange cheesey snacks? You're in luck, for our authors here at ADR3NALIN3 have asembled this marvelous gift bundle chock full of everything you need for a healthy, orange brain:

Watch our blog posts ... details on how to win it will be forthcoming very soon. Have a grand weekend, and don't forget -- a book a day, keeps the zombies at bay. Farewell, happy readers!
